Video Controls Plus Plans: Free, Pro and Team Compared

Video Controls Plus plans are the three account plans, Free, Pro and Team, that set how many AI runs you get each day and how much reasoning each run gets. Every feature is on every plan, so a plan never switches a control on or off. Free is $0 with 3 AI runs a day at the Spark level. Pro is $9.99 a month or $99.90 a year, with 50 runs a day at Pulse, and it moves up to Surge after 3 paid months in a row. Team is $8.99 per member a month or $89.90 per member a year, for at least 3 members, with 100 runs a day for each member at Surge. Your own OpenAI or Anthropic key removes the AI limit on every plan.

Use cases

Use every control on Free

Speed, A-B loop, audio boost, filters, screenshots, notes and keyboard shortcuts are all on Free. Free adds 3 AI runs a day at Spark, enough for a few video summaries or spoken notes.

Summarize and speak notes every day on Pro

Pro gives you 50 AI runs a day at Pulse, which is better at longer recordings and videos with a lot going on. After 3 paid months in a row, your level moves up to Surge.

Give a class or a study group the same tools on Team

Team covers at least 3 members on one plan. Each member gets 100 AI runs a day at Surge, the level for long or tangled requests.

Bring your own AI key on any plan

Add your own OpenAI or Anthropic key in Settings, on the AI Features tab, and summaries and LinkedIn writing help run on your key with no limit from us.

How it works

  1. Create your account. Sign in on vcpeai.aoneahsan.com with Google, then press "Connect to your account" in the extension popup. Every account starts on Free.
  2. Open the Plans page. Pick Monthly or Yearly at the top. The prices and daily runs on each card come from the live plans table.
  3. Choose a plan. Press "Upgrade to Pro" or "Choose Team". The Contact page opens with the plan and the billing period already in the subject.
  4. Send the message. The Video Controls Plus team sets the plan up on your account.
  5. See your plan at work. Settings on the website shows your plan, your AI level and the runs you have used today. The popup's AI card in the extension shows the same runs.

Examples

  • Pro, paid yearly. $99.90 a year instead of 12 × $9.99 = $119.88 paid monthly, with the same 50 AI runs a day.
  • A Team of 3 members, paid monthly. 3 × $8.99 = $26.97 a month, and each member gets 100 AI runs a day at Surge.
  • A Free account that summarizes 3 videos in a day. All 3 runs are used. They come back the next day, and every playback control keeps working in the meantime.

Each video summary, LinkedIn writing-help answer or Speak recording that becomes a proposal uses 1 run on the Shared allowance. A Speak recording where nothing was heard, or that failed to upload, uses none.

What do Spark, Pulse and Surge mean?

They set how much reasoning goes into each run. Spark is fast and efficient, Pulse is sharper, and Surge thinks deepest. Every level writes your notes, flashcards and summaries.

Can I use my own AI key instead?

How do I choose a plan?

Press "Upgrade to Pro" or "Choose Team" on the Plans page. The Contact page opens with your plan filled in, and the Video Controls Plus team sets it up.

What happens on Free when AI is resting?

AI on Free sometimes pauses, and the card says "AI is resting until …" with a time. Your runs are untouched and everything else works. On Pro and Team, AI keeps working all day.

Tips

  • Switch the toggle to Yearly to see each plan's yearly price.
  • The popup's AI card shows today's runs.
  • A silent Speak recording uses no run, so you can record again.
  • On Team, every member gets their own 100 runs a day.

Limitations

  • Every feature is on Free. Pro and Team raise the daily AI runs and the AI level.
  • Team starts at 3 members.
  • Speak always runs on the Shared allowance, so a Speak recording uses one of your plan's runs even when you have added your own key.
  • Pro reaches Surge through paid months only. Months given by the team or a team seat do not count toward the 3.
